A Yard Management System is essential for industries with high volumes of carriers, suppliers and distributors. With ProMOS® Yard Management, the entire vehicle flow — from scheduling to gate release — is digitized and traceable in real time.
No more entry queues, idle docks or scheduling conflicts. The system allows carriers to schedule trucks online in advance, the gate validates documents and releases entry via the system, and dock operators manage each position with full yard visibility.
Integrated with the shipping module, the software automatically generates the loading plan and controls weighing, loading and vehicle departure — reducing yard dwell time and increasing dock throughput.
Full control of the transport cycle
This software controls trucks and transport vehicles during the entire time they are inside the company yard for shipment or pick-up of cargo.
The process starts with daily freight scheduling. When the transport arrives, a barcode card is generated and used at every stage of the process.
The truck is weighed at the entrance scale and the weight is checked against the invoice — automatically imported via XML file.

From parking to docks with full traceability
The truck is sent to a parking area where the vehicle, cargo, documentation and accessories checklist is completed. The driver history shows scores from previous trips.
If approved, the vehicle is sent to a dock where a new checklist is performed before loading or unloading. Afterward, it is re-weighed at the exit scale.
The entire process has controls, approvals and validations in real time.
